-warm-ups
-worked on "Erev Shel Shoshanim" measures 18- 26
-ran through "Irish Blessing" from memory
-worked on "Dies Irae" pgs 1-3
-ran "Down in The River" in mixed parts

     For all those who missed today PLEASE MAKE A SERIOUS EFFORT TO COME TOMORROW. We really need everyone to be there since it is our last chance to practice before MPA. 

     Everything we talked about is small but 1 big thing is to have BETTER VOWELS in both songs but especially Take Me to the Water.

- Today we had an MPA adjudicator join us and help us with both of our pieces
-warm-up
-worked on both pieces fully

There are 6 rehearsals until we go to MPA (music performance adjudication) and 2 rehearsals until our guest clinician will be here Thursday. Mr. Wilson will be here tomorrow to help us practice with the accompaniment.

Sight-reading factory was due Friday and counts as a quiz grade. Make sure you completed it! You have 3 attempts.

All students - please do everything you can do to stay well! As we get closer to MPA we need EVERYONE well and in class for rehearsal.

      We ran through both of our songs and finetuned them a little bit more. We also figured out the windows for the back to rows. My notes are going to be pretty scarce up until MPA since a lot of our rehearsals are just us repeating a phrase and Mrs. Patchett giving us very specific pointers.

     We didn't do a lot today. We watched our two videos from yesterday and we took the role of the adjudicator and graded ourselves. After watching our videos we talked through some criticisms and told the class what grade we gave the choir. Some of the categories were Vowel purity, are we blending, how is our phrasing, and can you understand what we are saying.
