Concert Choir

Rehearsal Notes
-First sang different chords on solfege -- Sang a scale, and when we sang back down the scale, Sopranos held (high) 'DO', Altos held 'LA', Tenors held 'FA' and Basses held 'RE'.
-God's Gonna Set...: Ran through whole song once. Worked on punching the ending (more and more power). Recorded us singing the piece so later (when we improve everything we need to), wee see/hear growth. After listening to the recording, some people shared ideas/opinions on how to improve.
-Self Assessment
-Guided Theory Lesson (important): prep for individual work on Friday**. Directions:
Go to chorus website. Click on Ensembles,  homework, theory videos.
If absent today/Friday, print out and do on your own. Come to tutorials if you do not understand/want more help with it. 

**After you have finished this activity - Go to www.musictheory.net , go to Exercises, Note Identification, (make sure you turn ACCIDENTALS OFF & add the Treble and Bass Clef)
Do 30 examples. Twice. When done, click Show Progress Report, screenshot it(!!!) and send to Mrs. Patchett. Then, go back and do an Interval Identification.

-*SUB EXPECTATIONS*: everyone must be respectful of the substitute teacher tomorrow and behave as though it is a regular class day. Do your individual work and stay in your assigned seat. The Classroom Officers should remind people who are not following the rules/not doing the task at hand to go back to their assigned seat/get off of social media if they are doing so. Take it easy on the sub, guys! A classroom of 89 is overwhelming. Thank you!
