Rehearsal Notes:
-Today we worked on the following songs....
1. Angels We Have Heard On High- We worked on pages 5-7 sepcifically on piecing together the "Gloria" sections. As you're rehearsing, try to remember which Gloria's go where because there are several different sets. Also pay attention to things like staccato and crescendo markings.
2. The Sleigh- we learned from page 5 to the end and then put the whole thing together.. once we are more comfortable with it, we will speed it up a lot!
3. Carol of the Bells- we went through the whole song making sure the "Ding Dongs" sound percussive and the sopranos are following the conductor. Remember we will crescendo through the whole "Gailey" part. Also don't forget to close to the "ng" and pay close attention to dynamics!
4. Holly and the Ivy/ O Come- Women went into the hallway and sang in circles with their voice parts and the men stayed in the classroom and worked on O Come with Mrs. Patchett
