beginning chorus Tuesday 10/9/18

Tuesday 10/9/18    Beginning chorus
We started class will a warm up working on vowels. We then finished getting our new seats with blending. If you were gone today please talk to Ms. Patchett to know where you new seat will be.
We also learned about our new song the Hallelujah chorus, we also took note about it which will be on a future test. The impotent notes are:
  • Hallelujah chorus was written by Handel in the Baroque area
  • the song is part of an oratorio
    • Oratorios are basically operas but with a biblical message
    • Oratorios were made to replace the less "christian like" operas
  • The song Hallelujah chorus is part of the oratorio The Messiah
