Concert Choir, Monday 02/20/17

Rehearsal Notes and Assignments: Today we got in our places on the risers.. if you were absent, we have a space for you! We ran through sing me to heaven and talked about several things such as tall vowels, matching our 's' and following Mrs. Patchett. ALWAYS FOLLOW THE CONDUCTOR!!! It is very important that we stay together. Then we worked on I'm Gonna Sing and we polished our 'oh my Jesus' thebasses worked on their timing and pitches on the 'it was grace' part. The rest of us need to make sure our 'oh yeah's' are piano but sung with a sense of urgency and excitement. Remember that we only have 6 rehearsals left until MPA so everyone needs to stay focused during rehearsal :)

-Phantom of the Opera Tickets are on sale to the general public now. Get your tickets before they are all sold out! The show is Feb 23, 24, & 25.  The shows are a 7 pm each night and there is a matinee on Feb 25 at 2 pm in addition to the 7 pm show. 

-Mark your calendars - we will have a Spirit Night at Blaze Pizza on Monday March 6.  That’s MPA day! After a great day at MPA, you can go to BLAZE PIZZA and have dinner. 

-All All State Field Trip Forms should be in at this point.  If you have not turned in your All State Field Trip Forms, you need to email Mrs. Patchett.
-Mrs. Covington and Mr. Butler will be coming next week to help us with our MPA music!! Yay!
