Rehearsal Notes and Assignments:

Prayer of the Children- pages 4 & 5 measures 13-25
     Crescendo when you are not allowed to breathe
     No breath on page 4 measures 9-10
     Tall vowels especially on "light"
     Remember **measures 13-14 are the same pitches as measures 17-18
My Bonny Lass- pages 2&3 measures 1-13
     Tenor II is alto for the first three measures
     Soprano II sing alto for the first three measures
     Change back to your original voice part after first 3 measures
     Make sure you work on timing for Falala's
     Tall vowels and energy!!

Homework:

If you were in Ms. McGrath's music theory group, complete 30 examples of note naming on musictheory.net and print off your progress report, due tomorrow :)

We will be holding an optional musical workshop at lunch on Thursday Oct. 13th A lunch.  It might also go into B lunch.  If you are even thinking about Auditioning for the musical, the directors HIGHLY recommend you come to this workshop.  Being at the workshop will not help or hurt your chances to make the cast list, however, it will inform your audition.  Mr. Buttner will go over the monologue selections and will teach you how to deliver a monologue.  Ms. Patchett will teach the male and female songs to the group. 

Honors Chorus Rehearsal Today and Tomorrow all lunch this week

Concert & Beginning-  Does anyone have a signed concert attire sheet to turn in?

We need to put the rest of the Mattress yard signs out and around Holly Springs.  There are still many in the chorus room and are not doing any good advertising while sitting in the cardboard box.  If you can take a yard sign up and put it up around town, in your yard or on a main road, please take a yard sign or several and help us out! - If you put them off the main road, please put them at least 3 feet away from the main road. 

If you would like a copy of a Professionally Recorded Album - CV 15-16, it is $15 and we have plenty left to sell! Bring $15 check or cash to Ms. Patchett at lunch or before or after school.
