Rehearsal Notes and Assignments:
I'm Gonna Sing 'Til The Spirit Moves In My Heart- Pages 7&8 measures 35-43
     Tenors use head voice/ falsetto for "moooooving"
     Basses worked on when to come in with their "Can't you feel it movin"
     Don't put a "till he comes" on the end of measure 35... it's not like the beginning
     Keep tall vowels and strong consonents
My Bonny Lass- Pages 3&4 measures 14-23
     Men went into the cafeteria with Ms. McGrath women stayed with Mrs. Patchett
     Accent the notes that are accented!
     Keep light and bouncy feel
     New Falala's, learn pitches!
     Altos don't forget your quarter rest on the top of page 4 after "more"
Prayer of the Children- Pages 5&6 measures 26-33
     Close 'm' around the 'o' on "dohm"
     Breathe after dohm but not before lah dah dah
     Time signature change on the top of page 6
Danny Boy- Page 4 measures 10-16
     Went over Alto, soprano 2, and soprano 1 pitches
     Altos don't resolve the chord in measure 12 stay on the E flat
     Don't breathe when you aren't supposed to

All-  Student mattress referral money will be here Friday.  On Wednesday Mrs. Patchett will let you know if you actually got a referral and will ask if you want a cool athletic jacket or the $25 cash for your first referral.

All- Don’t forget the optional Musical Audition Workshop is Oct 13th A & B Lunch in the auditorium.  The directors highly encourage you to come.

Beginning & Concert - If you would like to audition for the 9-10 Select Choir at Wingate University. Please write your essay by Oct. 14th and come to the chorus room at lunch.  Be prepared to record your audition on Oct. 14th.  See the website for more details.

All- If you would like to purchase a 2016-2017 Chorus T-shirt, turn in your money and order form by THIS THURSDAY Sept 29th.  

All - If you would like to purchase Lowes Food Gift Cards please turn in the money by Sept 29 with the order form.  The order form can be found online under Boosters- Fundraisers-Lowes Food.

Concert Choir & CV - If you plan to pay for your fairshare instead of fundraising it, please turn in the money this Thursday Set 29th.  You can pay $25 for one semester, or go ahead and pay for both semesters ($50).
