-We got into circles with our voice parts and worked on pitches
-Repeated measure 11-16 eight times on second verse
-Altos don't resolve your chord in measure 12
-Pay attention to dynamics make sure it sounds smooth
-We are performing this song tomorrow for share day!
Festival Sanctus- Pages 5-7 measures 34-43
-Make sure 'Sanctus' is tall it's not 'songtooos' (we don't want to sound like the old people)
-Measure 40 pronnounciations:
Plenisunt = Plenny suit (soft 'eh' in Pleni)
Coeli = Cheli (like Chili but with an 'eh')
Gloria = Glahdia (or flip your 'r' if you can)
-Altos & Sopranos remember to go up in measure 43!! It's not like measure 41
My Bonny Lass- Pages 3-4 measures 14-27
-Time signature changes from 4/4 to 3/4 in measure 18
-'Smile' in measure 14 should be pronounced 'smahl'
-'Dear' in measure 15 should be pronounced 'deah'
-Measures 14-16 are mezzo forte but it gets piano on measure 17
-Altos don't forget quarter rest on the top of page 4!!
-Falala's should be light and bouncy and forte
Remember to demonstrate good rehearsal skills everyday! Our class has been a bit chatty lately and it needs to stop because it takes away from our rehearsal time and it's distracting to everyone. So unless Mrs. Patchett or Ms. McGrath tells you to do so... don't talk!! We'll be much more productive :)
