-This is in the key of B Flat Major
-Sopranos start on high Mi
-Altos start on Sol
-Men start on high Do

Rehearsal:

Warm Up

O Mirtillo
-Men worked on measures 3-10 to gain confidence on the notes. Draw vertical lines across tenor and bass parts for pitches in unison and a squiggle line for dissonance.
-Women stood in circles with our respective sections while working on this piece (Soprano 1, soprano 2, alto). Measure 8, between "tro" and "co-me", breathe (mark 'B' for breathe). Also, in measure 12 between "tro" and "co", mark 'B' for breathe. Women learned measures 10-15 on "doo".
-All together we sang measures 1-15, on "doo" instead of words, and didn't fall apart (yay!)

Awake the Harp
-Follow along with your voice part while other parts are singing
-Tenors worked on measure 23, specifically the hard interval from "-ed" to "for". Go into falsetto starting measure 24.
-Men worked on measures 21-26, and ran measures 21-24 a Capella
-Basses flip into falsetto at beat two of measure 17
-Sopranos reviewed measures 25-27
-Altos reviewed measures 24-27. Make sure that "dress" in measure 27 is held for two beats.
-Don't chew the word "your"

Chindia
-Worked on measures 73-79 and reviewed briefly 73-116

NEW SONG! Let the River Run
-Listened to the song on youtube and talked about the song (like how there are a lot of splits within most sections)

Homework Due:
None :)
