Student mattress referral money will be here Friday.  On Wednesday Mrs. Patchett will let you know if you actually got a referral and will ask if you want a cool athletic jacket or the $25 cash for your first referral.

Don’t forget the optional Musical Audition Workshop is Oct 13th A & B Lunch in the auditorium.  The directors highly encourage you to come.

If you would like to purchase a 2016-2017 Chorus T-shirt, turn in your money and order form by THIS THURSDAY Sept 29th.

Concert Choir & CV - If you plan to pay for your fairshare instead of fundraising it, please turn in the money this Thursday Set 29th.  You can pay $25 for one semester, or go ahead and pay for both semesters ($50).

There's a Tri-M meeting October 3rd b lunch.

Oct 6th, this class is three and a half hours. We will be working the entire time. Goal- learn a lot of the winter concert music. PLZ COME TO SCHOOL OR YOU WILL BE LOST.

Rehearsal:

Awake the Harp
-we were originally threatened with potentially having to sing in octets for a grade measure 34-46. But we know our music relatively well so we didn't have to do it :)

Chindia
-crescendo measures 1 to 4
-pay close attention to dynamics
-reviewed whole song

Animal Crackers
- "the kangaroo" learned the rest of the piece (the boomerang part)

In Remembrance
-worked on dynamics (intensity even at pianissimo)
-in measure 42, put the "T" on the and of beat three

Let the River Run
-worked on the transition from measure 11 to measure 12
