Today is the last day to sign-up to audition for the Musical.  Please make sure you fill out the information form and sign-up for an audition time. 

Butterbraids were delivered yesterday - if you did not pick up your order, see Mrs. Patchett at the end of class.  If you took your order home and had any issues please see Mrs. Patchett after class.

HSHS has started teacher of the year nominations.  Students, parents and teachers can nominate a teacher of their choosing.  There are a few paper forms on the front table in the chorus room, or the nomination form is on the HSHS website. 

We started peanuts and greenery fundraisers Monday.  If you were absent Monday, Mrs. Patchett will give you your fundraising materials  today.  Raise your hand if you need fundraising materials.

Beginning Choir -Nov. 1 is your first performance! You have an informance on Tuesday Nov. 1st.  There is a general parent meeting for the whole chorus program and beginning choir will be giving an informance.  An informance is an informal performance.  We will sing some of the songs we know from the beginning of the year.  We will demonstrate to the parents how we warm-up, the use of good vowels, how we learned to sing a musical phrase a more.  It is basically a sneek-peak into our classroom 1st quarter.  Beginning choir students - your attendance to this informance is a test grade.  You have had the date since the beginning of the school year.  You need to arrive to school at 7:00 pm in the chorus room. Parents report to the auditorium at 7pm.  We will sing around 7:15 or 7:30 (it depends on how long the meeting lasts).  We sing after the meeting.  The meeting is usually really short. You wear your normal school clothes to the performance because it is informal.  Again, the informance is Nov. 1st @ 7 pm. Any conflicts must be communicated to Mrs. Patchett by email by Monday.
