CV- 10/17/16

Announcements:

The new Butterbraid delivery day is THIS Thursday. Please make sure you make arrangements to pick up you butterbraids and get them into a freezer within the hour just to be safe.  If you have an issue getting the butterbraids into a freezer due to an after school activity, you need to speak to Mrs. Patchett sooner rather than later.  Please do not wait until Thursday to communicate the conflict.

HSHS has started teacher of the year nominations.  Students, parents and teachers can nominate a teacher of their choosing.  There are a few paper forms on the front table in the chorus room, or the nomination form is on the HSHS website.

Your next Nashville trip payment is due next Wednesday Oct 26. $200. If you fundraised it in butterbraids, or plan to fundraise it in wreaths, trees garland and peanuts, please let Mrs. P know.

The CV T-shirt list of names draft thing was passed around. If your name is misspelled or missing, fix it on the sheet. If you were absent, go talk to Mrs. Patchett about it.

The peanut fundraiser and the wreath and garland fundraiser were passed out today. ***They're due Tuesday November first.*** all the details for these fundraisers are in the orange envelopes that were distributed in class.

SOUTHERN AREA CHORAL FESTIVAL DETAILS:
If you're driving and parking your car at apex friendship, you need a "SACF Participant" paper to put in your dash.
You won't be parking in the main lot. If you're coming and the school is on your left, you're going to go into the bus loop, and park in the back, closest to the buses.
Tonight we're meeting in the  auditorium if you get there early. We're going to line up by voice part, and then we're going to be seated by the directors mixed with the other schools. You will sit in the place you're told to sit, don't move to go be with your friend.
We will be done no later than nine pm tonight.
In the morning, get to apex friendship at 7:10, go into the  auditorium and sit in your assigned seat from the previous day. If you're bringing an item for student lunches, bring it tonight and wrote"for student lunch" on it.
At 2:15 you're dismissed to go home. By 5:30 you need to have already eaten, be in full concert attire, and be at apex friendship by 5:25. Ladies, don't forget pearls.
At 7, the auditorium doors open, the concert starts at 7:30. Tickets are five dollars. Wake county employees get in free if they show their wake county ID.
See Mrs Patchett before you leave. Do not just leave after the concert.
Do not make negative comments about the other choirs, it's inappropriate to talk about. We will only have positive comments, we are only supportive of each other. Bring your black folders today and tomorrow. If you have a chorus T-shirt, wear it tomorrow.
