Happy Halloween! (The last day of ghost of Tom)

All Peanut and Greenery Orders are due tomorrow with the money.  If you only sold Greenery online, then you do not need to turn anything in.  Let’s get one more push for the greenery! Tell everyone you know to purchase their Christmas tree from us!

Phantom Call backs are today if you are needed please be in the seats of the auditorium at 2:29 pm

Composite Chorus Pictures will be Friday Nov. 4. You must bring in your concert attire at the beginning of the school day so you can wear it for the picture.  You can wear your hair however you like for your picture.  We will take the pictures during our choir class period in the chorus room. You are not required to purchase the individual picture, but you will receive a proof of your picture later in November to see if you would like to purchase it.

CV & CONCERT :Beginning choir is giving an informance Tomorrow @ 7pm.  Beginning choir students are required to attend.  It is also a parent meeting.  Please encourage your parents to come to the very brief meeting.  Mrs. Patchett would also love to see a large group of concert choir and Colla Voce students in the audience to support Beginning choir in their first performance on stage. Again, the date is Nov. 1st 7 pm in the auditorium.

Honors Chorus Rehearsal all lunch today - B Lunch tomorrow and all lunch Thurs & Fri

All late work needs to be turned in before school starts tomorrow.

We took a class photo for funzies. If you weren't there, feel free to photoshop yourself in.

Rehearsal:

Hallelujah (which is newish... I guess...?)
-no "r" in lord in measure 4
-basses suing up the octave in measure 13
-tenors don't chew measure 7
-basses listen for the tenors for your entrance in measure 24
-make sure our dynamics are actually piano
-crescendo in measure 35
-sometimes we will sing this piece as just CV, so we definitely need to work on balance and vowels

-we should be at level 4 brightness for this song
-anything larger than a quarter note needs to be crescendoed (is that even a word?? It is now)
-words with a " ' " need a break. Like in " ya' " in measure 16

We were supposed to have a test on Ding-a-ding today, but a significant amount of the class was unprepared (I'm not throwing shade, just staying facts), so we didn't have the test.
