Rehearsal Notes and Assignments:

We Wish You A Merry Christmas- Pages 2-7 measures 1-41

-The first 5 1/2 pages sound great and it seems like everyone knows them

-Worked on soprano and Alto entrances in measure 35

-Remember it's just 'give us' 'give us' without stopping 

-Altos and sopranos just ascend on your "give us pudding"

-Worked on timing and pitches and ran through the whole thing

Ding-a Ding-a Ding- Pages 2-7 measures 1-22

-Ran over what we learned yesterday and started from beginning 

-Measure 21 is where it gets tricky

-In measure 21 we went over each voice parts pitches and gradually brought each one in

-We worked on measure 21 for quite a while and finally sort of got it :)

-When we got 21 we went back and ran through the whole thing and then class ended

Homework: Learn your voice part for each of the all choir songs (and your women's/men's piece) because there will be a test tomorrow. Practice tracks are available online!
