Announcements:

If you have not turned in your Greenery or Peanut Paper orders, please turn them.  Make sure your name is on the outside envelope.

Wreath, Trees, and Garland sales are extended online only to 10:00 am Thursday!

Composite Chorus Pictures will be This Friday Nov. 4. You must bring in your concert attire at the beginning of the school day so you can wear it for the picture.  You can wear your hair however you like for your picture.  We will take the pictures during our choir class period in the chorus room. You are not required to purchase the individual picture, but you will receive a proof of your picture later in November to see if you would like to purchase it.

CV & CONCERT: If you are a senior and are interested in applying for the assistant Director position for Phantom of the opera, the application is on the HSTC website.  See Mr. Buttner for details. Applications are due today

Concert & CV: Honors Chorus Rehearsal all lunch Thurs & Fri.  HC see Mrs. P at end of class.

Concert Opportunities:
-High school honors chorus concert at 3pm this Sunday in Winston Salem. If you plan on attending, talk to Mrs. Patchett.
-Middle school honors chorus concert at 1:30pm this Sunday in Winston Salem.
-App State choral concert in Boone at 8pm this Friday

-we sight read through measure nineteen
-Altos and bases have melody in the beginning

Ding a Ding a Ding
-we switched rows up temporarily. First row went to the second row, second went to the third, and third went to the first.
-worked on page seven measures twenty one through twenty two
-no breath between measures twenty one and twenty two
-quarter notes should be percussive

Ave Maria
-we switched up rows again. The second row went to the third row, third to first, and first to second.
-worked on page ten measures 33 through 37
-altos come in on the downbeat of 35, don't come in too early.
