Rehearsal Notes & Assignments:
We Wish You A Merry Christmas- Pages 2-6 measures 8-30
-Altos and Basses are unison during the first part
-Say 'we' on beat 3 of measure 11
-Tenors and Altos went over parts starting at measure 20
-Sopranos drop the octave from 25-26
-Everyone circle rests in measure 28 because we all have different ones
-Basses go up not down on 'year'
Festival Sanctus- Pages 6-7 measures 37-43
-Pay attention to dynamics!!
-Piano at measure 37 and gradually move up to mezzo forte at 40
-Remember the time goes from 4/4 to 10/8
-Creacendo through the second 'Plenisunt'
-DO NOT BREATHE in measure 42 (*cough cough* basses)
-Tall vowels
O Come O Come Emmanuel
Cold and Fugue Season- Pages 2-4 measures 1-15
-Altos are just an octave lower than sopranos in the first 3 measures
-Makes sure your 'hackchoo's' are dramatic and pronounced
-We mostly went over pitches
-Keep in mind that it's the same chord over and over again but the notes switch between parts
-Circle your rests in measure 15
Ding-a Ding-a Ding- Page 20 measures 21-22
-Learned the new pitches
-Everyone make sure you're tapping so you get the timing correct
-Circle accents and dynamics for your voice part

Announcements:

-All Peanut and Greenery Orders were due today with the money.  If you only sold Greenery online, then you did not need to turn anything in. If you forgot your order today, please turn it in tomorrow ASAP
-Lowes Food Gift Card Money was due yesterday - if you forgot it, please see Mrs. Patchett 

-Composite Chorus Pictures will be Friday Nov. 4. You must bring in your concert attire at the beginning of the school day so you can wear it for the picture.  You can wear your hair however you like for your picture.  We will take the pictures during our choir class period in the chorus room. You are not required to purchase the individual picture, but you will receive a proof of your picture later in November to see if you would like to purchase it. 

-Beginning choir is giving an informance TONIGHT @ 7pm.  Beginning choir students are required to attend.  It is also a parent meeting.  Please encourage your parents to come to the very brief meeting.  Mrs. Patchett would also love to see a large group of concert choir and Colla Voce students in the audience to support Beginning choir in their first performance on stage. Again, the date is Nov. 1st 7 pm in the auditorium.
