Rehearsal Notes and Assignments-
Festival Sanctus- Whole Song
-Close on the 'n' of Sanctus so it sounds like bells
-'Deus' should be 'Dehus' keep it tall
-Strong 't' at the end of 'Sabaoth'
-Make sure there is a strong 'K' sound on 'Qui venit' in measure 25
-Measure 28 should be light and somewhat bouncy
-Pay attention to the D.S. al Coda, go back to page 4 measure 24
-Went over ladies pitches on page 10
-Try to have this song memorized
Danny Boy- Whole Song (without repeat)
-Come in softly and don't drag the beginning
-Crescendo on notes that are held, this will help you not go flat and it sounds nice
-Lean on 'Calling' in measure 2
-Strong and pronounced 'f' on 'falling' in measure 6
-Tenors are the most important part in measure 8 so let them have their moment
-Altos remember 'meadow' goes down... it's a C, not a D
-Try to have this song memorized
Cold and Fugue Season- Pages 6-8 measures 36-57
-Alto 2s have a tricky part so make sure to practice
-'Classy' should sound like 'Clahhhhsy'
-Worked on when to come in with our 'Kchoo's'
-We mostly reviewed pitches for each voice part and put them together

-10 Rehearsal Days until the the Winter Concert!!!
-Make sure you have the dress rehearsal and Concert times and dates in your calendar. It is a test grade for you to attend both in full. Dress Rehearsal is Dec. 1, 2:30-5:30 & Concerts are at 4:30 & 7:30. Call time to school on Dec. 2nd is 3:20pm. You must come dressed and ready to go. The Boosters will feed you dinner between concerts. - Any conflicts must be communicated to Ms. Patchett by Friday
-Our Goal is have all music we have learned Memorized by TODAY!.
-Please check the board for All Choir Lunch Rehearsal Dates - Your attendance to these rehearsals will affect your daily grade in class. If you have another required tutorial at the same time, have your teacher write me a note or an email and Mrs. Patchett will excuse you, otherwise you are required to be at the rehearsal. It is a required tutorial.
-Tickets are available for the concert-. Order online and pay by cash or check to the chorus program and turn money into the grey box. Orders and money need to be in by Nov. 22. The link is going to be sent out via remind this afternoon and it is also on the website.

Proofs of your Composite Pictures are here. Make sure your composite proofs are returned with the pictures and envelope by Friday. Purchasing is optional. Returning the proofs and envelope signed by your parent is not optional
