CV- 11/28/16

Announcements:
CONCERT WEEK!

No wreaths/garland/tree delivery today - Moved to Thursday.  Students will not be allowed to leave dress rehearsal to help with tree/garland/wreaths, but can sign up to help starting at 5:30.

All Chorus students will be picked up behind the school near the band room after the dress rehearsal.  Please communicate with your parents that they need to pick up by going through the bus loop and then behind the school to pick you up.  If they ordered greenery, they can pick that up at the same time.

Lunch rehearsal A LUNCH TODAY - Lunch rehearsal B LUNCH TOMORROW & A LUNCH THURSDAY

Tickets - the public link will go live today and the student link will go dark.  You can turn in money for either through the end of school tomorrow.  Otherwise, unpaid for tickets that are reserved will be at Will Call the day of the concert.  You will need to make sure to pick up tickets that have not been paid for by 30 minutes prior to the concert, or the unpaid for reserved tickets will be sold to someone in line.

CV- Trip Deposit is Due Wednesday $200

5 Rehearsal Days until the the Winter Concert!!! - Plan to wear your chorus t-shirt Friday if you have one

You must come Dec 2 dressed and ready to go at 3:20.

The boosters feed the students between the 2 concerts. If you have a dietary need, please go to the link on the board (http://tinyurl.com/2016winterfood) and fill out the dietary need so we can accomodate you.  

All State Auditions will be Next week Dec 6 B Lunch & Dec 8 All Lunch.  See Website for more details

-Lo How a Rose (not for winter concert, for other  performances)

The First Nowell
-emphasize the k sound on "keep" and "cold"
-crescendo "say" to "was"
-basses need to come in strong immediately after the tenors enter

Cradle Hymn
- swell at "dwell for" and "hear him"

Carol of the Bells
-make sure you know the words (rip)

Ose Shalom
-don't breathe on the page turn from page one to two

Ave Maria
- know when you're important and when you should be quiet *cough cough women* and louder *cough cough men*

Homework:
Know your music plz. We have a concert. It's kind of important.
